During the two-day training that was held at Heritage Hotel in Kitui on 13-14th February 2017, the county officials were exposed to prevention tools and strategies, and how to identify corruption loopholes. EACC Commissioner Dr. Dabar Maalim addresses Kitui County health officials during the training.
EACC Commissioner Dr. Dabar Maalim officially opened the training, which was facilitated by the Commissions head of Education, Training and Public Awareness, Dr. Purity Gitonga, together with other officers.
Sixty-eight health officials were trained and urged to be active participants in the war on graft. Dr. Dabar challenged Kenyans to take the war against graft as a personal challenge and to avoid glorifying the beneficiaries of corruption proceeds. Instead, he urged the public, “be vigilant and report all cases of corruption to the Commission.
