EACC CHAIRPERSON LEADS DELEGATION TO UK
March 16, 2017: The Chair of the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), Rtd Archbishop Eliud Wabukala, is in London, UK, leading a delegation of public officials on a week-long benchmarking tour.
The delegation arrived on Monday and will visit public offices that deal with anti-corruption matters. Its primary aim is to learn how the UK fights graft and what Kenyan law enforcement agencies can borrow from such practices.
With the EACC Chair are the Vice-Chair, senior management, members of the Justice and Legal Affairs Committee of the National Assembly, the Judiciary and Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions. On arrival in London, the delegation met the UK Home Office Security Minister, Hon. Ben Wallace, in his office. He pledged his governments support for Kenya in the fight against corruption and lauded President Uhuru Kenyattas efforts to eliminate the vice. Posted on Friday, March 17, 2017
