EACC engages the public on anti-corruption efforts at Kitale ASK Show

8:10: 2025: The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has set up an exhibition booth at the ongoing Kitale Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK) Show, taking place from October 8th to 11th, at the Kitale Showgrounds.
Representing the Commission’s Chief Executive Officer at the event is the Director of Preventive Services, Mr. Vincent Okong’o, who is accompanied by the Deputy Director, Education and Public Awareness, Dr. Emily Mworia, and the North Rift Regional Head, Mr. Kuntai Ole Tingisha. The official opening of the show is scheduled for Thursday, 9th October 2025.

Through its participation, the Commission seeks to fulfil its preventive mandate by sensitizing members of the public and students, the show’s primary visitors, on the dangers of corruption and unethical behaviour. The Commission’s officers are engaging attendees in interactive sessions on integrity, accountability, and ethical values.
A key highlight of the Commission’s exhibition is the promotion of the Integrity Clubs, one of EACC’s flagship initiatives designed to nurture character and inculcate values among learners from early childhood to tertiary institutions. The initiative aims to instil moral responsibility and strengthen the culture of integrity from an early age.
By taking part in the Kitale ASK Show, EACC continues to advance its public education mandate, fostering a society that values ethics and actively rejects corruption.
