The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) and the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) have strengthened their partnership to improve the investigation and prosecution of corruption and money laundering cases.

The commitment was made during a meeting between the leadership of the two institutions at the Kenya School of Government on Tuesday, 15 July,2026. The meeting reviewed the progress of ongoing collaboration and agreed on new measures to improve the handling of corruption cases.

EACC Chairperson Dr. David Oginde said corruption remains one of the greatest obstacles to Kenya’s development, weakening public trust and affecting the delivery of public services. He said closer collaboration between investigators and prosecutors is essential to ensuring corruption cases are investigated thoroughly and prosecuted successfully.
