Invitation to a Public Lecture by Prof. PLO Lumumba and Stakeholder Engagement Event on 27th August 2020 in Commemoration of the 10th Anniversary of Implementation of Chapter 6 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010
The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission has organized a public lecture to be delivered by Prof. PLO Lumumba focusing on the status of implementation of Chapter 6 of the Constitution on Leadership and Integrity as at its 10th anniversary. The event will be held virtually on 27th August 2020, between 10:00a.m. – 1:00 p.m via http://bit.ly/2Yyo3LK, on all EACC social media platforms and live on KTN.
The lecture will be followed by a public discussion spearheaded by a Panel of Discussants consisting of Heads and/or Representatives of EACC, Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP), Parliament, Judiciary, Executive, Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), Kenya National Commission on Human Rights (KNCHR) and Transparency International.
The objective of the event is to appraise the progress made, challenges encountered and other issues of concern in the quest for integrity in public leadership and management of public affairs, as contemplated under Chapter 6 of the Constitution. The overarching goal is to strengthen implementation mechanisms through enhanced action by all stakeholders, including the public.
