CEO Pays Courtesy Call on Kisumu County Governor

The Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Abdi Mohamud on Thursday 23 July,2026 paid a courtesy call on Kisumu County Governor H.E. Prof. Anyang’ Nyong’o to discuss areas of collaboration between the Commission and the County Government in the prevention and combating of corruption.

The CEO commended the County Government of Kisumu for its continued cooperation with the Commission in implementing corruption prevention programmes and advancing the national anti-corruption agenda. He noted that partnerships between EACC and county governments play an important role in strengthening systems that promote integrity and accountability.

Governor Nyong’o welcomed the Commission’s continued engagement with the County Government and reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to working with EACC in implementing corruption prevention initiatives and strengthening integrity measures across county institutions.

The two leaders agreed on the need for continued collaboration in promoting ethical leadership and safeguarding public resources through effective corruption prevention measures.
