EACC arrests former Siaya County Officials over misappropriation of KES.22.5 million.

27 March 2019: EACC, has arrested former Siaya County Secretary Kephas Marube, former Director Supply Chain,Tobias Oloo and three proprietors of Mu-Salem Ltd over misappropriation of Ksh.22.5 million.  The suspects will be charged over improper award of tender for construction of prefabricated building will be arraigned today before the anti-corruption court in Kisumu. The Directors of Mu-salem Company Ltd to be charged alongside the former senior officials of Siaya County Government are, Arystirico Muhanda,James Okware Emondo and Felix Matibai.
