Integrity drive gains momentum as Kenya and UK deepen anti-corruption ties

24:02:2026: The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) and the British High Commission have reaffirmed their partnership in the fight against corruption.

This renewed commitment was made during a meeting at the Integrity Centre between EACC Chairperson Dr. David Oginde and Dr. Ed Barnett, MBE, Chargé d’Affaires of the British High Commission.

Dr. Oginde noted that fighting corruption required collective efforts. He pointed out that while Kenya has the right laws and institutions, real progress depends on strong partnerships, effective leadership, robust enforcement, and citizen involvement.

The meeting also highlighted the need to follow international financial integrity standards, including efforts to meet the requirements of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF).

The EACC and the British High Commission remain committed to promoting integrity, accountability, and good governance through continued collaboration.
